Not far from the Airport, Midmost represents everything needed for a short city break in Barcelona. A boutique hotel with friendly reception staff, clean rooms with a good size en suite bathroom, close to the Metro for ease of travel around all the landmarks, shops, restaurants,bars and bakeries. Check in and out was seamless. Roof top bar was a nice addition and I’m sure the small pool would be welcome in the heat of the summer after a long day exploring. We will be back.

A fantastic hotel in an ideal location. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. The room was a great size as was the bathroom and like the rest of the hotel, spotlessly clean. Great selection at breakfast & the complimentary cava on the rooftop bar was a nice touch.

This hotel advertises that it has soundproof rooms. Do no be fooled, they are anything from soundproof we stayed there for 6 nights and we were woken up every night and early every morning by cars and people on the street people in the hallways and by a sink that was behind our headboard In the adjacent room. We have tried to get compensation back aswell and the hotel has refused to give us a single penny back in my experience this shows a lack of customer care and attention the manger even called me a liar when I told them about all of these issure even with video evidence and they can't even label our room correctly on the map our was the one with the bath.

Really impressed with this hotel and the staff. We stayed for 4 nights Sat-Wed. Flew in from the UK and didn’t get to the hotel until around 2200. There’s a metro station universtat right next to the hotel which was handy! Got the metro from airport straight to hotel. Check in was easy had to pay €35 euro hotel tax. I had booked this trip through lastminute.com which included breakfast and flights to and from Manchester for £555. It was my birthday while I was there so before hand I emailed the hotel mentioning this and they clearly upgraded us to a lovely bigger room with a balcony on the 5th floor. This wasn’t expected and was complimentary. Really made us happy. On the day of my birthday they wrote a card for me and left it on the bed. Lovely little touches which were very nice. On the 6th floor there is a roof terrace, little bar and little pool but was too cold to go in. Would be nice in the summer. Breakfast is a help yourself style mini Buffett which was nice food. There were robes in the room, toiletries, everything you need. Decent sized fridge. Very impressed with the hotel and would definitely stay again. The location was perfect. There are a selection of good bars right near the hotel including a good Irish one. It’s a 5 minute walk and you’re at the start of la ramblas and shopping area. We walked it to port vell and the gothic quarter too. Only got a metro pass for 3 days. Highly recommend

Just spent 4 nts here. Hotel is centrally located, just a 5 min walk from Primark/Las Ramblas, and a quick walk the other way is Casa Batllo. You can walk to the beach as well, however this takes around 30+ mins. You can get the areobus from the airport for 6,75 euros 1 way, and it stops in Catalunya square, which is a 5 min walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is nice - the reception area is pretty. I found the hotel to look both luxury in accessories (i.e. lights, robes, bathroom details etc) but then a little shabby/tired in other ways (i.e. some of the bedroom furniture, the corridor walls etc). We were on the 4th floor however we had a wall that was fairly close to our window as the view, so it was quite dark in there during the day, however luckily we don't spend our time in there during the day. The bathroom was nice and the robes were super heavy, and the slippers were probably the best Ive ever had in a hotel. We were experiencing mini ants around our sink area each day (I'm not sure if they liked the minty toothpaste?). We never reported it because they were only small and once we kept killing them, we didn't see them again till the next day. The shower was also nice and spacious, however the shower screen leaked onto the floor so this may need to be looked at (room 404). Reception staff were friendly and polite (didn't really have any interaction with them as such though but they were always pleasant enough when you were coming and going). I used the public hotel disabled bathroom on our last day as I struggled to find the women's toilets. The bathrooms themselves are lovely, however the toilet seat in the disabled is pretty disgusting, and needs to be replaced. We ventured up to the top of the hotel on our first night to see the pool, which looked super small and obviously can't imagine it being used in the winter. The bed was comfy but low. Black out curtains were amazing, however super deceiving as to what time it was in the morning! (Whole point though, I know). I missed having a plug socket next to the full length mirror so I could straighten my hair. I had to do it on the dressing table where there was no mirror. Not a big deal but kind of makes sense? We did have a couple of black hairs in the shower upon check-in, and then again after our cleaner had been, which isn't great, but it is what it is. All in all, I would recommend this hotel for location, and would be happy to stay here again.
